CD4受體,全稱“表面抗原分化簇4受體”(Cluster of Differentiation 4 receptors),是輔助T細胞的表面標記(surface markers)之一,也是輔助T細胞行使其功能的重要受體。當抗原呈遞細胞(主要是巨噬細胞、棘狀細胞及B細胞本身)將外來病菌分解,把抗原與主要組織相容性復合體結(jié)合后,呈遞給輔助T細胞(即與輔助T細胞表面的CD4受體結(jié)合),輔助T細胞再接著刺激B細胞產(chǎn)生抗體,此即體液性免疫反應的基本過程。
